CPS NZ Ltd, founded in 1986 by Chris Woudenberg, employs approximately 20 people and performs calibrations in seven accredited domains, with particular expertise in pressure, temperature, and electrical measurements. The company’s diversified client portfolio includes over 3,300 clients, spanning the dairy, oil & gas, healthcare, aeronautical, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing industries. CalCon, founded in 2004 and acquired by CPS NZ in 2020, specializes in electrical calibration and torque testing. Both CPS NZ and CalCon were owned by Chris Woudenberg and Kirsty Russell. The businesses’ main laboratory and headquarters are located in Auckland, with additional laboratories in New Plymouth and Christchurch.
